The online ECEC EMCA Lab is a series of monthly data sessions and workshops for researchers using ethnomethodology, conversation analysis, or interactional linguistics, to study interactions in early childhood education; in ECEC settings, clinical settings and at home.

The Lab is held on the third day of the week (Wednesday) the third week of the month every month (except January) from 5.00pm- 6.30pm in local time Melbourne Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) which is 10 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). (An hour later during daylight saving.)

Members of this group are PhD students, early career researchers and experienced academics – working in education, speech pathology, linguistics and sociology – doing research that involves interactions with young children All EMCA researchers working with data that involves children are welcome to join - simply sign up below! 


Members who have signed up for the group can login to access materials and zoom link for each Lab.
